Constitution

The administrative board consists of fifty-one (51) members that are elected for three years by the representatives’ General Assembly in a secret ballot. Participating members of the A.B. are also: the representatives of Panhellenic Pensioners Federations (TEVE, TAE, TSA) with speaking but not voting rights.

The 51 seats of the A.B. are occupied by the electoral combinations and the individual candidates in proportion to their electoral approval.

Responsibilities

The administrative board implements the business of the General Confederation and directs its activities according to its statutory purposes and objectives.

It implements the decisions of the General Assembly and decides on each topic concerning the interests of professionals, craftsmen and merchants according to the framework of its statutory responsibilities.

It directs the trade unions-members of the Confederation in their course of action leading to the vindication and satisfaction of the professionals’, craftsmen’s and merchants’ petitions.

The administrative board constitutes a quorum when the number of present members is greater than those absent, and decisions are reached by the majority vote of the present members.

The administrative board decides on the registration of its members or upon the termination of any membership, contributions’ rates and the convocation of the General Assembly.

The administrative board elects the Presidium of GSEVEE.
